Meg Richardson

After retiring from 20 years in Public Safety, Meg started an art consignment business called The Purple Thistle, LLC. Born out of a love of beauty and the study of nature, The Purple Thistle was a collective of creative and talented artisans. The collection included block prints, photography, acrylics and mixed media, metal work, jewelry, fabric, and needlework. In addition to offering a collection of art, TPT offered a variety of unique items of various era vintages.Sadly, in 2020, much changed in the world and Meg chose to close the business.Along with her husband and best friend, Al, Meg recognized the change as an opportunity to quiet down, really listen to the message of Christ, and to follow His model. The couple began a daily “clock-in” for service and, as a result, began to see the crushing needs of so many around them. It is their hope to honor their Creator and to exemplify His words, “…love not with words but with actions and in truth.”
